Infinity meets reality
Visit Evonik at the TCT Asia in Hall 7.1 at booth C56
Evonik addresses the need for 3D printing with new product line of photopolymers and PEEK filaments at TCT Asia 2021.
Toni Schreibweiss, vice president and general manager for BL HP Asia Pacific said, “With the new photopolymer product line, we are entering another market-relevant technology stream, strengthening our long-term market position as materials experts for all major polymer-based 3D printing technologies. Introducing new ready-to-use formulations, we are also continuing our materials campaign to drive industrial-scale 3D printing as manufacturing technology along the entire value chain. We can offer the market unique products with excellent properties and help our customers to conquer new application areas.”
Under the claim “Infinity meets reality”, Evonik will present its wide-ranging portfolio and competencies for the additive manufacturing industry. The new product innovations that will be highlighted during the three-day event in Shanghai include:
New photopolymer product line

The first high-performance material from Evonik's photopolymer product family leads to high toughness and impact-resistant 3D parts. The new material INFINAM® TI 3100 L can withstand strong impact or permanent mechanical effects such as pressing or impact. The range of possible applications extends from industrial to automotive parts and individual applications in the consumer goods sector, which, in addition to design-free forms, require strong mechanical loads in object use.
The second formulation is setting-up a new benchmark in the category of high strength polymer resins. INFINAM® ST 6100 L is the material of choice for applications which need high temperature resistance combined with high mechanical strength.
Industry-grade PEEK filament as a metal replacement for industrial 3D applications
INFINAM® PEEK 9359 F, the natural-colored PEEK filament, is suitable for direct use in standard FFF/FDM 3D printers for PEEK materials. Thanks to its unique properties, such as high mechanical strength, hydrolysis resistance, or inherent flame retardancy, it is particularly suitable for the production of lightweight and high-performance 3D components for the aerospace, automotive, and oil & gas industries.
Implant-grade PEEK filament for medical applications in 3D printing
Sold under the brand name VESTAKEEP® i4 3DF, this PEEK filament is an implant-grade material based on VESTAKEEP® i4 G, a highly viscous, high-performance polymer from Evonik. Customers will be impressed by the product’s biocompatibility, biostability, x-ray transparency, and easy handling. The filament is produced under cleanroom conditions and then subjected to stringent quality management standards for medical materials.
In addition to 3D-printable PEEK filaments designed for permanent body contact, Evonik also offers GMP-grade biodegradable medical materials under the brand RESOMER®, which contains a range of standard and custom powders, filaments and granulates for use in the high-resolution 3D printing of bioresorbable implant devices targeting all key additive manufacturing technologies.
